2. HOW TO ENTER: To participate in the Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest, listen to 97.1 The River at 7:20am and 5:20pm during the week of June 13th (Monday through Friday). When you hear the cue to call, be the 25th caller at 404-741-9797 and win a $100 gift card from the Hard Rock Café Atlanta and a 40th Anniversary gift bag; you will also be qualified to win a Grand Prize all-inclusive 5-day/4-night trip for two (2) to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s newest resort in Punta Cana. In order to participate and win, you must be at least 21 years of age and a current resident of Georgia with a valid Georgia driver’s license or state issued ID. This contest will begin on Monday June 6th, 2011 at 6:00am and continue through Sunday June 26th, 2011 at 11:00pm.
There are two other ways to enter:
1)Six (6) additional qualifiers will come from an online contest at 971theriver.com during a three (3) week period between Monday June 6th, 2011 and Sunday June 26th, 2011. Six (6) entries will randomly be chosen to win a $25 gift card from the Hard Rock Café Atlanta on Monday June 27th, 2011.
2)Four (4) additional qualifiers will come from scheduled station appearances at designated Walmart stores. Each qualifier will win a $25 gift card from the Hard Rock Café Atlanta and a 40th Anniversary gift bag.
During each appearance, contestants must complete an official entry form with name, address (city, state, and zip), email, and phone number – and deposit it into the registration box provided. Entries must be received prior to the conclusion of each station appearance. Maximum of one entry per person. All entries must be handwritten. Any incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. Station appearances have been scheduled as follows (sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify any of the scheduled appearances):

WSRV and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective employees, Officers, directors, shareholders, and agents are not responsible for any human error, mistakes, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any network, including, without limitation, telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any web site or online service or any other error or malfunction. Contestants accessing our station audio via IP connections like website-based streaming or mobile devices are welcome to enter. However, WSRV-FM cannot be responsible for delays in electronic transmission of station audio to IP devices. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned.
By entering this contest, listeners acknowledge their understanding and agreement to this specific provision of the contest rules. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by WSRV or its agents.
3. ELIGIBILITY: The Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest is open only to Georgia residents who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of Cox Enterprises, Inc., Cox Radio, Inc., WSRV, and other radio stations, promotional sponsors including Hard Rock Café International (USA), Inc., and all affiliated companies (and the immediate family members of all such employees, and all other with whom they are domiciled) are not eligible to participate in the contest or win prizes. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. To be eligible to win, you must not have won another contest on WSRV within the past 30 days. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize all-inclusive 5-day/4-night trip for two (2) to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s newest resort in Punta Cana is $3,500.00. This promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
4. PRIZES: Ten (10) on-air winners (“qualifiers”) will receive a $100 gift card from the Hard Rock Café Atlanta and a 40th Anniversary gift bag. One (1) Grand Prize winner, chosen at random from the 20 qualifiers, will be awarded an all-inclusive 5-day/4-night trip for two (2) to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s newest resort in Punta Cana. This includes airfare valued at up to $1,000.00. The Grand Prize winner will be notified of prize by phone and/or email and is required to pick up his/her prize at the radio station during normal business hours (8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday). The Grand Prize winner is responsible for taxes, baggage fees, ground transportation, and any incidentals. The Grand Prize winner and his/her guest are also responsible for securing passports.
All on-air and online winners are also required to pick up their prizes at the radio station during normal business hours (8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday).
Station appearance winners will be announced on-site at the conclusion of each event. If the winner is not present, he/she will be required to pick up prizes at the radio station during normal business hours (8:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday).
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Reservations are subject to availability, and certain restrictions apply. Tickets will not be upgraded, and stopovers will not be allowed.
5. ODDS: The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of people attempting to participate in the contest at any given time.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE: The winner (“qualifier”) of the 40th Anniversary gift bag and $100 gift card from the Hard Rock Café Atlanta will be the 25th caller at 404-741-9797 who hears the cue to call at 7:20am and 5:20pm during the week of June 13th (Monday through Friday).
Six (6) additional online winners (“qualifiers”) will be drawn randomly from entries gathered in a three (3) week website contest at www.971theriver.com from Monday June 6th, 2011 through Sunday June 26th, 2011.
Four (4) additional winners (“qualifiers”) will receive a 40th Anniversary gift bag and $25 gift card from the Hard Rock Café Atlanta. These winners will be chosen, at random, from all entries deposited in a registration box during scheduled station appearances.

All winners may waive their right to receive a prize. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed, except that prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and WSRV reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. The winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. As a condition of receiving the contest prize, the winner will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release, which must be signed at the time the winner, claims his/her prize at the WSRV Business Office. Failure of to sign the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may, at the sole discretion of WSRV, and Cox Radio, Inc., result in winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize. Except where prohibited, participation in the contest constitutes the winner's consent to the publication of his or her name and image in on-air promotional announcements and other promotional material from WSRV, and Cox Radio, and on the Cox Radio Interactive Web sites, and to the inclusion of his or her name and image in any other related publications or Web sites for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or additional compensation. The winner's list may be obtained by sending a request with self-addressed, stamped envelope to 1601 West Peachtree Street Atlanta, GA 30309.
7. PARTICIPATION: Participation in the Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest constitutes an agreement by each contestant to comply with these Official Rules. WSRV and Cox Radio, Inc. reserve the right to cancel or modify the Contest if it determines, in its sole discretion, that fraud or technical failures have destroyed the integrity of the Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest.
8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering the Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest, contestant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any contestant be permitted to obtain any award for, and contestant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
9. CONSTRUCTION: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the contestant and Cox Radio, Inc. in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Georgia, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Georgia. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
10. GENERAL RELEASE: By entering the Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest, contestants release WSRV, Cox Radio, Inc., Hard Rock Café International (USA), Inc., any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light).
11. The Dr. Pepper Ultimate Hard Rock Summer Contest is sponsored by WSRV, Cox Radio, Inc., 1601 West Peachtree Street Atlanta, GA 30309, whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of this Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. WSRV, and/or Cox Radio, Inc., will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other Contest materials. Hard Rock Café International (USA), Inc. and its affiliates are not sponsors of this Contest and are not participating in any way in the administration of this Contest.
